Well, if you're not in a hurry and not concerned if you get the right part despite telling them (several times) exactly where on the car it was to be found, then I guess you could say they were OK.
However, I don't know of anyone who goes to a car dismantler and is willing to accept those conditions.
I also say "OK" because the woman in the office was the only person who seemed to know what she was about and that's why I had to give one star although, to be fair a half star was more like it.
She promised us next day delivery on a Honda HRV part so we ordered, making sure she got the right part, which she repeated to us.
We phoned next day to see when it would be delivered to be asked by a man "What part was it you wanted?" Not looking good.
We again repeated the exact part and where it was to be found.
We took delivery next day (looking up here).... to discover it was the wrong part!
After our mechanic confirmed this, we phoned Jap Parts to be told we should return it so that they could send us out the right part. No way! After two chances to get it right, do they really think we would give them another, especially since my car had been off the road for two days more than it should have been - and counting.
Also the part they sent us could have been bought NEW for half the price they charged us.
The final insult (if you don't take no apologies whatsoever into account) was that they refused to give us a full refund, keeping back £10 for their postage and packing. Now, when we returned the part, in better packing than they sent it, and by Royal Mail Special Delivery, it cost £7.
When I checked the "signed for" information online, someone had, instead of a signature, written DAMAGED - again, no way! Hedging their bets, I think it's called.
So, we were out by £17 for a totally incompetent transaction.
Be warned if you still want to deal with this company.
Shocking customer service. I had to block my credit card because of the mocking of paying them over the phone with my payment card.
They told me originally on 6th June 2017 @ 14.54 that they would order my part rear light fitting I gave them payment with my card.
Two days later no part. Rang up was told by Tracey would flag up and put a tracker on the parcel to see where it was in the delivery. Rang up again a couple of days later spoke to Tracey's colleague which he didn't offer his name only Traceys said she wasn't in and she would be better to deal with this inquiry and for me to ring back next day couple of days later rang back still no parcel.
Spoke to Tracey she had no recollection or recordings of payment/order or conversation she got frustrated with me as I was mystified by the whole thing. She handed me over to her colleague who didn't offer his name he sounded of Asian decent and clearly Tracey and him were working as a team.
He told me they had no record of payment or of any order for a Honda civil 02 rear light. He said I couldn't have paid them I must have paid someone else. I got quite distressed and frustrated as I remembered Tracey's voice when I originally made the payment. I told them it was your telephone number I used to order the part. He said to you just give your card details to anyone and laughed mocking me at this point I felt humiliated and frightened that I had just been scammed by someone working under jap parts b30 2jf which was the post code he gave me.
I had no choice after that disturbing phone call to block my payment card and investigate any payments to this company or any fraudulent withdrawals. Clearly having staff which looks like can not even take payment correctly or order parts and record any orders in an administrator capacity followed by mocking customers and having poor customer service I would like to see feedback on the outcome of my review. Very poor service from start to finish awful customer service. Ordered pay by card entry wrong part to wrong address got part it didn't fit my car even though they insisted it did after sending them pictures of different hole alignment I had to pay courier to send parts back then they said they would have to send cheque because their card machine had broke still waiting for cheque so Monday I'm calling credit card people to sort it ..avoid this company like the plague I've had had to call and chase not had one call back from them.
