Description:
Counselling is about supporting and empowering you in your own life and development - you won't be judged, criticised, given advice or told what to do. Counselling can offer the safety and support to explore and make sense of your struggles, find your way through them and continue with a healthier or more fulfilling life. Welcome. My name is Vicky Mould, and I'm the founder and owner of Azalea Counselling. I offer individual counselling for adults and work comfortably on a long or short-term basis. I now work exclusively online and over the telephone, with online sessions via Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp. I offer a 60-minute consultation to explore counselling and establish if we could work well together. I am a down-to-earth, friendly-natured counsellor who can help you feel welcome and at ease. As an experienced bereavement counsellor and mental health therapist, I can offer caring, compassionate and non-judgmental counselling for life challenges such as loss and grief - including baby loss, domestic abuse, stress, relationship issues, low self-confidence and self-esteem, loneliness, depression, postnatal depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Counselling can be a courageous step in all these experiences, yet I believe in mental health and trauma recovery and the unique potential you have within you. We can work at your pace to find your sense of coping, healing or wellbeing. Practising person-centred therapy, I will work to help you feel part of a genuinely safe and supportive relationship. Sessions are confidential, and I trust you'll bring what feels important to you. Whatever you choose to explore in session, you will be valued, accepted, heard and understood. Sometimes, it's hard to express yourself through words alone or move forward from struggles or concerns despite talking them through. For this reason, I offer the option of creative counselling, such as using art mediums alongside talking therapy. We can discuss creative counselling in our initial sessions - if you'd like to. My goal in our counselling is to empower you to make life choices or changes you want to make. If you'd like to book a consultation or ask questions before taking that step, please email me or call or text 07729 193629.
