I teach yoga in small friendly classes in village halls in the Stroud area. The aim of my classes is to make the practice enjoyable & relaxing yet gently challenging. I welcome all levels, abilities, shapes and ages to my classes without any competitiveness. I incorporate several styles of yoga within my classes but my predominant style is Dru Yoga. Dru yoga aims to achieve optimal spinal health. Each posture and sequence is taught with particular awareness of the spine. Dru yoga also includes the practice of asanas as flowing sequences. In the unique Energy Block Release (EBR) sequences the aim is to free energy blockages that are often present in the body due to past physical and emotional traumas. You may feel stressed and think that you are too tired to exercise but will be surprised by how much Yoga can help you on so many levels.
