Opened in Jan 2012 Evolution Recording Studios is a 1000sq foot High End Recording, Mixing and Tracking facility in Oxford, featuring at it’s heart a beautifully refurbished Trident Series 80B console. The desk sounds fantastic and is one of the finest examples in the UK.
Recent clients include Frank Turner, TEED, Chad Valley, Jonquil, Sanguine Hum, Cherry Red Records and Universal Records to name but a few.
The Spacious Control Room benefits from natural light with views across fields to North Hinksey.
The live rooms have real oak floors there are three separation booths and a vocal booth, The main live room is completely acoustically controllable with baffles, Vicoustic panels, heavy velvet curtains and an Indian sandstone wall. Acoustically it can range from a live rock drum sound to a room dead enough for voice over work.
