From the interior design to the collections and curiosities, The Ampersand Hotel unites guests with the locals and surrounding area through the five themes of botany, music, geometry ornithology and astronomy The hotel, which is located in Kensington opened in its modern incarnation in the summer of 2012, it was originally built as a boutique hotel, called The Norfolk Hotel, with only 80 rooms each of which had different fittings and fixtures. The hotel was comfortable and luxurious and was set apart by it's character and distinction.
