Our Lifting Equipment Service engineers undertake all work to ensure your legislative responsibilities under 'The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations' (LOLER) are met and exceeded. The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations came into force on the 5th December 1998 and puts the responsibility for safe use and control of Lifting Equipment onto the purchaser. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that Competent Personnel inspect fixed items of Lifting Equipment and loose Lifting Gear at regular intervals.
All inspections are carried out in accordance to the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) standards.
Hampshire Lifting Gear can also provide a wire rope examination service to ensure that crane and lift ropes fall within discard criteria.
