My name is Ellie Mackay and I practise from Kingston Upon Hull. I have worked here for just over 5 years, having worked previously in Spain.
I work with people who have depression, anxiety or eating disorders, and other issues, no matter how passing or enduring. I help people get through their problems in an understanding, non-judgemental, safe way, whilst maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality.
I work as a psychotherapist for a local charities and in the NHS.
I have a Degree in Psychology which I finished in 2005. I also work in Spanish.
I see young people, adults, couples and families and on a short-term or long-term basis, depending on the presenting issue.
I abide by the code of Ethics of Scarborough Psychotherapy Training institute (ScPTI). This means I offer complete confidentiality - I keep everything the client tells me to myself. I receive fortnightly clinical supervision so that I can offer a service that is based on clinical guidance and best practice.
I also have full indemnity insurance cover and an Enhanced Criminal Record Check.
I am an Advanced Trainee Gestalt Psychotherapist. I studied in Scarborough, and started my training in 2009. I am now working towards accreditation with the UK Council for Psychotherapy.

£35 Individual session (1hr)
£30 For children, students or people on low incomes (1hr)
£40 For couples or families (1hr)
