Yvonne graduated with a BEd (hons) Music degree and has taught in various secondary schools in both Aberdeen and Glasgow, plus independent private music schools in and around the North East. She also taught for Bruce Millers Music Shop in Aberdeen for many years.
She is a registered teacher with the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and has a 100% pass rate to date for students who have sat exams over the past 18 years. Yvonne is also a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.
Students can follow the ABRSM syllabus in preparation for exams, or they are welcome to take lessons as a hobby. She enjoys teaching people of all ages and is very patient, friendly, encouraging and has a good sense of humour.
Lessons are individually tailor-made to suit the requirements of each student.
