J24 Resourcing is a specialist recruitment company operating in the health and social care sectors. As HR advisory and consultants we provide both temporary and permanent recruitment solutions to a broad range of clients throughout the UK. We have been awarded a place on the new National Clinical Staffing Framework for the NHS.
We work in partnership with Healthier Business who are SEQOSH accredited for all the mandatory/Statutory training in accordance with the LPP Clinical Staffing Framework training compliance.
With our head office situated in a strong central geographical location in Derby in the East Midlands, we are able to offer UK national coverage. We provide staff throughout the social care spectrum, across a multitude of settings including hospitals, mainstream residential homes, looked after children accommodation, secure units, PRU's, nursing homes, day centres, sheltered accommodation and supported housing schemes in addition to services in the community. We understand that the health and social care of individuals is not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ model therefore all client requirements are bespoke.
We operate an on call service, enabling our clients to contact us anytime for cover requests, and to ensure our candidates have a constant method of communication. This allows us to cover shifts at extremely short notice and outside of normal office hours. We provide all our clients with an email address and mobile number which are constantly monitored, as we appreciate the Health and Social Care sectors operate 24 hours a day meaning staffing needs are reactive and there is always a potential need for additional emergency staffing cover.

Doctors

We have access to qualified linguists across a variety of specialist areas which include: Medical translation and interpreting, Mental health interpreting, Legal translation, interpreting Immigration translation, interpreting Financial translation, interpreting Technical translation and interpreting. Our linguists are fully qualified, experienced and native speaking translators and interpreters. We monitor their quality and performance through audits, mystery shopping bookings and client feedback.

Nurses
We have a number of exclusive contracts in place therefore ensuring that we offer the best locum and permanent roles within the NHS, leading private hospitals and other public sector organisations across the UK. Allied Health Professionals
We supply temporary and permanent candidates with expertise of working as Community Support Workers, Residential Child Care Workers, Health Care Assistants, Night Care Workers, Housing Support Officer and Project Officers

Social Workers - Qualified
At J24 Resourcing we believe that the care and support given by nurses is paramount to the patients’ health therefore we provide the right nurse, at the right time and in the right place when you need them. We specialise in provision of Registered Nurses ranging from Mental Health Nurses, Adult/General Nurse, Learning Disabilities Nurses, Paediatric Nurses and Dental Nurse

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Enhanced Disclosure
J24 Resourcing Limited requires candidates to declare any cautions, convictions, bind-overs or pending prosecutions, even if they would otherwise be considered 'spent' under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. DBS Enhanced Disclosure checks are conducted on all UK and Overseas candidates. If the candidate has a DBS that is registered for the Update Service this is checked on an annual basis. Enhanced Disclosure are renewed every 1 year unless there are grounds to believe the candidate may be unsuitable for working with Vulnerable Adults, children and Young people.

Qualification Check
Original qualification certificates are sighted at interview and copies taken.

Permission to Work
We ensures that foreign nationals have permission to work in UK by sighting a valid, current working visa or worker registration scheme certificate, in accordance with our statutory duty.

Overseas Police Checks
All overseas trained candidates must have a police check from their country of origin before they can be deployed. A DBS check is also conducted in the UK.

Professional & Character References
We take up a minimum of two written work related references, including the most recent employer. We also take a character reference of someone who has known the candidate for 5 years or more. Reference requests are only sent to verifiable places of work and are checked on receipt to ensure that they are legitimate.

Check on Previous Employment History
The candidate's employment history for the last 5 years is thoroughly checked to ensure that all the skills declared are based on actual experience and any gaps identified and questioned.

Professional Face-to-Face Interview
A 1hr, face-to-face interview is conducted to ascertain the suitability of candidates for supply work. Full induction to supply work is provided, training needs are identified and roles and responsibilities clearly explained.
