Smart have pioneered the rental of self drive light truck mounted cherry pickers in the UK for over the last 12 years. In this time the company has grown to have a national network of sites including London North (Hemel Hempstead), London East (Dartford), Birmingham (Sutton Coldfield) and Manchester (Trafford Park).
Each training centre offers a wide selection of truck and van mounts ranging from 10-26m. Almost all of the range are on 3.5t trucks so can be driven on a standard license.
Self drive rental, starting from as little as £99 per day, has proven to be a cost effective and convenient solution to using more traditional access methods like self propelled access or scaffolding.
Operated hires are also offered from as little as £269 for a half day hire.
In addition, all our hire centers have their own dedicated training centers offer comprehensive training for our vehicle mounts and also IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) training for scissor lifts and MEWPs as well as PASMA training for mobile scaffold towers.
