Klodhoppers Children Shoe Shop Ltd in Haywards Heath

Do not buy shoes from Klodhoppers in Haywards Heath. I bought a pair of school shoes for Matthias at the beginning of September. Four weeks later they broke the D ring fell out so were unusable. I took them back to the shop and as a goodwill gesture after a lot of arguing about the shoe being fit for purpose (as I had lost the receipt but have a loyalty card so they know I have spent a lot in there) they replaced them. However today I picked up Matthias from school to find that exactly the same thing has happened to the replacement pair - again 4 weeks later. This time I thought it would be okay as I had asked for a receipt when they gave me the replacement and I kept both the receipt and the box. The owners of the shop are refusing to change the broken shoes despite me having a receipt so they know how long I have had them and that they came from them. They offered to repair them or send them away to be looked at but in the meantime I would have to buy a new pair of shoes. I am soooo unhappy about this and would like as many people as possible to hear about this awful service. I do not expect a pair of shoes costing £43 to break after 4 weeks twice! Please do not shop at Klodhoppers - Haywards Heath or Brighton/Hove. The owner had the audacity to tell me my son was wearing them 'wrong' and that hundreds of other people in Brighton/Hove are happy - Well I am NOT!! Only one star because I cannot select none.
