The Mint House is an independent bookshop offering a tangible shopping experience for book lovers in mid Sussex. Since re-opening the shop in 2010 (the previous owners fell out of love with book selling) our aim has been to reach our local bookish community. We run book groups for both adults and children, writing workshops and the shop is available for hire to other groups in the evenings. We work with local schools supporting their book events, the Book Lovers' Supper Club and host author events in the shop and local venues. If what you're looking for isn't in stock we can order it and are always happy to recommend titles. There's a wide range of children's book and a play area to keep them occupied whilst you browse. Oh, and I should mention The Mint House Team like a chat!
