A few years ago I consigned an unsigned mass of foxing concealing a lot of water to the tender cares of Kate Armor and after a while I collected a magnificent watercolour of a Victorian racing yacht under full sail and clearly going for its life, This became my pride and joy (it still is) and last summer it went to the Bowood "Antiques Roadshow" where it was admired by a top man called Grant Ford who immediately and categorically identified the painter. "Charles Taylor Junior, Not the father, the son!" he instructed me. I have nothing but praise for Kate Armor's work.
