China Garden in Hoole, Chester

We ordered crispy duck, kung po chicken, duck in satay sauce, sweet and sour chicken and chicken and sweetcorn soup. The order took 45 minutes to arrive. The driver was very polite. The order that arrived was cold - in particular the Kung po chicken. We ordered fried rice but boiled rice arrived. The crispy duck was so overcooked it was inedible. I was unable to put a fork in to it to separate any meat as the dish appeared cremated. We threw this away in the bin as even the children wouldn't eat it. Following the meal we decided to phone and complain, we were put through to a manager who was rude and unhelpful. There was no apology for the crispy duck, she said we must rummage through the bin and put the duck back in the container and drive it to the takeaway to request a refund. This was supposed to be a takeaway! We couldn't be bothered arguing any further as the manager was so rude. We paid the full bill and decided not to use China Garden again. This order was placed on a Tuesday evening, we don't usually order takeaways on weekdays, maybe standards slip during the week?
