The Saab Centre in Newton Aycliffe

I am a senior citizen and 88 years of age and would like to share with you my findings on the business.

I have a Saab 95 which is my main car and have been dealt very badly indeed by this company.

I like my car to be in top working order as I am unable to walk very far if it ever broke down and shared this fact with the company, but they have played upon this and advised that I had all the brake pipes and other parts changed as they were shot or in bad repair.

They also charged me top prices above book price for second hand parts, IE ignition cassette a full 100 pounds above original price.

The car has done very few miles each year and only summer driving and the MOT last never had any advisory notes as to need any parts in the future, this proves that the brake pipes never needed doing in the first place, never in my life time have I had such parts need changing on a good test last, it is impossible for all of the brake pipes to be needed in this way.

I also have a very experienced neighbour with over 30 years experience in the motor trade and an MOT tech.
When he saw the brake pipes that came off they were in the same condition as they were first fitted and never needed changing at all.
I asked him for all the old parts back, like my old brake discs and pads and the pipes but he was very reluctant to hand them over, and I only ever got two of the pipes, which I still have here.

I have also recently won a legal case regarding the owner, and he has yet to pay me my court awarded/judged refund, this gentleman, is no gentleman at all and prays upon unsuspecting people, so please be aware of this man and his company, now trading as The Prestige Motor Company, at 9 Gurney Way, Aycliffe Bussiness Park, County Durham, formerly The Saab Centre at the same address..

I would never trust his word again, he has also recently changed his business name to The Prestige Motor Company.

I have also been informed that he has done this to others but cannot comment right now due to others legal matters pending.
