When I initially contacted Igoris he asked me to email the details of the work required with photos so that he could provide a quote for the job.
I needed 6 internal doors fitted with architraves plus some skirting, architrave on a few additional doors, a door trimmed to fit door threshold and a filler panel fitted in the kitchen.
After emailing he promptly replied stating that it would be 2 or 3 days work max and a price which was in line with other quotes I had already received for the work. As he was available I decided to proceed with him and arranged for him to visit my property the next day to take a closer look at the job first. He started the work as planned the next day and the quality of the work seemed to be good however his progress was much slower than expected.
By the second day he recognized that he was taking longer than anticipated and would need an extra day. However after 4 days the job still hadn't been completed the job. 4 doors had been installed with architraves, the other 2 doors were installed but the architraves were not fitted and one of the new doors had been damaged because the lock had been installed forcefully causing the wood to crack and bulge outwards. Also the skirting, architrave on a few additional doors, door trimming to fit door threshold and a filler panel fitting in the kitchen was not completed.
I offered to pay for an additional half-day for the agreed work to be completed but he refused. All in all I was left disappointed that the agreed work had not been completed and that one of the new doors had been damaged.
