I would seriously give 0 stars if I could.
We booked our two dogs in for 9 days where they would stay together. We even asked if they would like us to bring their own beds for them to sleep in, whereby they welcomed it, saying that they may find it comforting.
Well when we picked them up I have never experienced such a disgusting and disgraceful condition for two dogs that are supposed to be being looked after, they were covered in faeces and urine. We had to wash them as soon as we got home, not something you would expect when arriving back from holiday. As for their new beds they were totally ruined, they had to be thrown away. I complained to the girl who said she would pass it on but we have heard nothing at all. I really wish we had not paid for there stay or at least withheld the £60 for their beds. I feel they have total disregard for the welfare of the dogs and would never ever entertain using these again. Disgusting.

One star is too many. Awful, awful place. Left dogs here for two days as a tester before summer holiday. When I phoned to check that the dogs were Ok, they made it sound like I was inconveniencing them. When I went to pick them up it was chaos, a million dogs running round with no supervision and only one member of staff on the desk. I then saw them taking four dogs out of the kennel that I had paid for for my two dogs. My Cockapoos came back stinking of urine and faeces. Bedding was wet and smelt of mould as if they had hosed the kennel down without removing it. They had only fed the dogs half of the food that I had left for them, as the remaining cans were unopened. One of my Cockapoos bottom was bleeding, and so was his mouth. I spoke with the farmer owner and he was just argumentative and wouldn't take any responsibility at all. I called Derbyshire council to make a complaint they said that they had lots of complaints about this kennels in the past. They said that when they had done surprise inspections on them before and found that they had had more dogs than they were licensed for and too few staff. This place is a bad joke. Needless to say I cancelled my booking here for our summer holiday.
